Lux-Airport, the aerodrome operator in Luxembourg, operates over 100 destinations via 16 airlines and employs over 350 employees. The airport is known for its efficient operations and quality passenger service. To strengthen its team and develop projects, Lux-Airport is recruiting a Storekeeper – Maintenance Department to contribute to the department’s development. The position will be Monday to Friday, with on-call service during winter operations.

Your responsibilities

  • Being in charge of and guaranteeing the correct receipt of products ordered, unpacking and checking merchandise, and putting it into stock
  • Computerizing product movements, monitoring stock levels and carrying out regular inventories.
  • Acting as the point of contact for suppliers, requesting quotations, suggesting technical product choices, and finalizing the process with purchase requisitions.
  • Maintaining and optimizing stock management (min/max management, obsolescence, creation of new items, etc.)
  • Monitoring and archiving safety data sheets relating to the use of chemical products
  • Keeping stock clean and tidy, and disposing of empty packaging
  • Providing a delivery service, depending on operational requirements
  • Preparing and dispatching parcels
  • Being responsible for the management of the various departments’ endowments (work uniforms, shoes, etc.) and ensuring fittings and measurements are taken

Your other missions

  • Participating in snow-clearing activities in aircraft parking areas during winter (on-call)
  • Organizing and participating in furniture removals
  • Participating in the integration of new employees.
The required profile
  • Baccalaureate or higher
  • 2-3 years’ proven experience in an industrial environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite.

Languages:

  • French: fluent spoken and written
  • English: operational level in the business

Specific knowledge linked to the job:

  • Organizational skills and good management of priorities
  • Proactivity, common sense and solution orientation
  • Good command of IT tools (Office Pack, SAP)
  • Technical knowledge, mainly in electricity,
  • Organized, proactive, autonomous, good interpersonal skills
  • Valid driving license (B)
